Saturday’s primetime matchup between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 5 Notre Dame in Columbus brought out all the stars. NBA superstar LeBron his James and his son Bronnie represented the Buckeyes on the sidelines before kickoff.
A huge Buckeyes fan from Ohio, James wasn’t going to miss the team’s season opener against the Fighting Irish. When James and his son were attending the pre-game festivities, the student section gave them an “ah” call. The Los Angeles Lakers star and his son knew exactly what to do and responded with “IO,” much to the delight of fans.
The father-son duo weren’t the only stars to come out to support Ohio State against Notre Dame. Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum was also in attendance, along with Chase Young and Terry McLoughlin, Curtis Samuel and many other Buckeye legends were also present.
In front of the great atmosphere at Ohio Stadium, both Ohio State and Notre Dame will try to make a statement in Week 1. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes have their sights set on a national championship and will enter the game at age 17. -Point Favorites. Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman, meanwhile, has a chance to score a signature win in his first year after replacing Brian Kelly.
