When the US Open tournament kicks off on Monday, stadiums filled with celebrities to witness Serena Williams in what could be her final Grand Slam tournament.
Williams, 40, has revealed that he may retire after this grand slam to focus on his personal life, including his family and other business activities.
Williams dominated Montenegro’s Danka Kovinic in straight sets in the opening match as celebrities from Hugh Jackman to Anna Wintour cheered on tennis superstar Kovinic at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Court .
Television personality Gayle King was also on the court to introduce Mike to Williams.

Other celebrities who showed support at the match included Queen Latifah, Anthony Anderson and Ashley Graham.
‘Wolverine’ star Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness enjoyed the evening watching William’s first-round win at the US Open.
Several photos show the couple having intimate conversations and getting intimate at the stadium.
Jackman was seen wearing a checkered navy blue suit over a light blue button-down and resting one hand on his wife’s lap. rocked an all-white ensemble.
The two watched intently, and Jackman snapped a few photos with his cell phone.

Vogue editor Anna Wintour stunned as she took the stand in a red floral dress, colorful statement necklace and shaded black sunglasses.
Winter topped off her look with a gold strap and a red-orange mini purse with chic embellishments.
American supermodel Bella Hadid was clearly enjoying the match and enthusiastically cheering for Williams.
Hadid, 25, wore an all-denim outfit, showing off a corset and white long-sleeved crop top.
The supermodel accessorized her look with a black necklace with a large silver design that included aqua stones. Hadid was joined by art director boyfriend Marc Kalman on one side and rapper Offset on the other.
Australian-born star Rebel Wilson was spotted cheering enthusiastically with girlfriend Ramona Agulma at a match between Williams and Kovinich.
The “Pitch Perfect” alum paired a nude heeled Barbie Core dress with a black leather top handle Hermès Birkin bag. Agulma in a black dress with a lacy white collar and large pearl buttons.
Legendary boxer Mike Tyson kept it casual: Tyson, 56, attended with his wife, Lakiha Spicer.
Boxer wore a navy blue shirt, white pants and sneakers and was all smiles. Spicer wore a red leopard print dress with a large gold hoop and chain necklace.
Former President Bill Clinton and Dr. Ruth Westheimer sat next to each other watching Williams win over Kovinic in a straight set.
