The creative mind behind Autumn’s Carolyn Travel Photography Exhibition has traveled to 30 countries in 30 years.
She has been to 48 states and 6 continents and is now exhibiting her work.
She took the name of Autumn Carolyn and said she started saving money when she was 12. She worked odd jobs, babysitting in middle school, and worked every weekend in high school. I wanted to save money and travel from the beginning.
Her exhibition 30 Countries by 30 is currently on display at the Paramount Center for the Arts. Featuring 18 photos of her from around the world.

“Even though I’ve had experiences in other places, it makes me feel so good to know that my photos can connect with someone,” she said. I will pass on my forgotten memories, and I look forward to meeting others who remember the wonderful experiences they have had before.”
Her exhibitions are filled with images of her most representative countries, from Austria to Japan.
Autumn Carolyn attended college at Illinois State University, spent only one semester abroad, and decided to spend her last semester before graduating, flying to another country every weekend. She left her classes on Thursday, took a train from Canterbury to London, slept at the airport and flew off Friday morning. She spent her weekend on her trip and returned to her apartment in time for class on Tuesday. She traveled for her 13 weeks and went to 13 countries.
She spent most nights in hostels, but other than that, her travel plans were disorganized, sleeping on the floor of a Newcastle casino toilet, a park bench in Paris, and a McDonald’s bathroom.
After college, she continued to travel as a flight attendant, became a travel agent, and became a travel design manager before the outbreak of COVID-19, and decided to devote herself to photography full time. She completed her last three nations and her last one in her May, officially making her 30 nations in her 30 years.

Now she attends art shows every weekend to showcase her work and connect with visitors. She has her 14 exhibitions this year alone. And she is in the process of publishing her book. Her work has been edited, a beta version has been read, and she is in the process of asking her copyright holders to publish it. Each chapter focuses on a different life lesson she learned in her country.
Her work is currently on display in the lobby of the Paramount Center for the Arts through September 28th.
