Aspiring fashion designer Marshall Columbia uses her childhood as inspiration for her playful and vibrant designs, referencing her love of arts and crafts and bright colors.
Columbia’s bold use of color and pattern reflects his nostalgic approach to self-expression and has caught the eye of celebrities such as Miley Cyrus and Bad Bunny.
ZHUO is a New York-based sustainable clothing and accessories fashion brand. The founder of the brand is Zhuolin Liu, a young Chinese fashion designer based in New York. She hopes to fulfill her wishes for a better future through her own work.
Using only eco-friendly manufacturing methods, Liu uses holographic materials, natural dyes and organic shapes, juxtaposing traditional designs and materials to create avant-garde womenswear creations.
The brand name “ZHUO” is a Chinese character meaning “to polish, to polish, to think”, which is the opposite of fast fashion.
