Malaysia-based investment holding company Tiong Nam Group has announced plans for Malaysia’s first aviation-themed lifestyle hub, due for completion in Q4 2023.
Located in Kempas, Johor Bahru, this hub occupies an integrated township of over 19,000m² and features 1975 Avenue & Hotel.
Offering 38 keys, the all-suite cockpit and cabin feature vintage ’70s, aviation-themed interiors. The 6-hectare project surrounding the hotel incorporates two of his redesigned Boeing 747s, and there’s also a man-made beach and lagoon pool that weaves through the entire development.
F&B options range from casual dining such as cafés, bistros, buffets and family restaurants to pop-ups, international gourmet dining and themed dining. Additional entertainment and activities will be announced at a later date.
The hotel also has indoor and outdoor event spaces ideal for corporate travelers, event planners and social events.
1975 Avenue & Hotel General Manager Kenneth Perot stated that the hotel “considered the integration, connectivity, market size and reliability of the hotel, and we are confident it will operate at a healthy occupancy rate in its first year of operation.” The luxury experience that we offer”.
