If you’re going to play soccer for Deion Sanders at Jackson State University, you’re going to have to follow some dress code rules.
The former NFL star-turned-college-football head coach taught his players the dress code rules in the classroom ahead of the school year.
Sanders wants his players to dress nicely for class and to look after them.
“No slides (sandals). No slides. No armpits exposed. No one beats his wife,” Sanders told the team. “Sit at the front of the classroom and be the perfect gentleman, because when you need help, that professor will remember your personality and who you were throughout that class. ..no slides, no sleeveless shirts, no armpits, none of that.”
Fans appreciate it.
“Sounds like Director Carter to me,” wrote one fan.
Another fan added, “I don’t care what you wear, but I worked in a suit shop for eight years. In fact, if you dress nice, people will treat you better.” .
“I get it all…but let these kids be kids at the same time. This is the time they need to enjoy life. When the time comes, don’t get it wrong.” Please…but let’s stop controlling everything about Lil with these guys… let them live a little bit,” added one fan.
