International and US championship games are set for today. Taipei City, Chinese Taipei will face Willemstad, Curacao for the International Title at 12:30pm at Lamade Stadium, while the US Championship will take place between Honolulu, Hawaii and Norensville, Tennessee at 3:30pm at Lamade Stadium. Chinese Taipei and Hawaii both entered today’s championship game with perfect records, advancing through the winner’s bracket to the finals. The US Championship match is a rematch from Wednesday’s Winners her bracket final, which Hawaii won her 13-0. The international final will be the first meeting of the year between Chinese Taipei and Curacao.
Curacao won the opener before falling into the losers’ bracket and had to win four elimination games to advance to the final.
Curacao finished runner-up in 2019. Hawaii won her World Series title in 2018. Chinese Taipei finished runner-up in 2009 and Tennessee finished the World Series last in 2012 with his second place finish.
