The past nine months have been the most trips I have ever taken in my life. Almost every two weeks since late April, I’ve been flying somewhere for reporter trips, family visits, and weddings. What is this constant on-the-go state? It’s a bit frantic…and I’ve become an expert packer as a result. .
At the beginning of this summer, we decided that we needed to improve the shipping situation for cosmetics. Random makeup bags and clashing prints were starting to hurt my brain and my eyes, so I wanted a little more sophistication in the look of my travel gear. The sustainable essentials brand makes some of my favorite totes, so why not try their gorgeous leather travel case set as well?

Of course, we also know that the Duchess of Sussex has been a fan of the brand for years. She especially admires her taste for understated accessories. Truth be told, her beautiful leather makeup her bags (her two in this case) are just the thing of sophistication. The selection was very easy.
But Cuyana Travel Case aesthetics aside, this duo really helped me organize my self-care belongings. First, the zippers on both the large and small cases are not only level at the top, but wrap around bottom to bottom for maximum space efficiency. A large bag can hold both travel-sized skincare and makeup brushes for long trips, but it’s better to put the various components of your cosmetic routine (base, blush, eyes, etc.) inside them. I like it. I own a separate compostable baggy that is labeled for less confusion when unpacking the case. This is especially useful for keeping track of lipsticks and the more glamorous beauty elements you might carry around for a formal event or wedding. Throw the tools into the little case and you’re ready to go Glamor.
But when I’m at home, these gorgeous, supple cases (mine is navy) make good use of them, too. continues with her daily makeup routine. Next, she packs everything she needs for touch-ups, plus a lipstick or two, into the smaller bag. This bag moves from tote to tote depending on the day. Nothing beats the satisfaction I get from this organization. Is there perhaps only one that is a little more satisfying? How chic do I feel every time I pull it out or smooth some more lipstick to appreciate my look. I’m like the most together human being on the planet. I am fully converted. Get yourself a quality makeup bag.
