    Saturday’s wet weather caused some problems in the cross-country world, but several events involving teams from Hamilton County were able to run all the way to the end.

    The Noblesville women’s team traveled to Columbus North to take on the Millers and Bulldogs, two teams considered one of the best in the state. However, the competition was canceled when the competition was canceled due to rain.

    Guerlain Catholic placed sixth with a total of 243 points.Jack Webber leads Golden Eagles with his 12thth.

    In the women’s national team race, Guerin Catholic finished fifth with a team score of 140 points. The Golden Eagles took the individual win, with Bridget Gallagher taking the win with her 19:30.1.

    Carmel and Westfield qualified for Saturday’s Brownsburg Invitational.

    The Greyhound boys’ team won the team title, scoring 40 points and placing five individual runners in the top ten.His first five runners in Carmel took him sixth to he finished tenthth, starting with Connor Maron in sixth place. He was followed by Kyle Grove (7th), Kevin Sweeney (8th), Liam Oman (9th) and Kiefer Jay (10th).th).

    The Westfield men finished sixth with 176 points.Sam Hines led Shamrock with 21st.

    In the women’s race, Carmel finished second behind Franklin Central. Flash won the competition by scoring 55 points. The Greyhounds and the host Bulldogs both totaled 56 points, but Carmel finished runner-up with the sixth runner.

    Three greyhounds reached the top ten. Elagadis finished his eighth, while teammate Sadie Foley finished his ninth. Kaitlyn Oshimura Ranks Her Top 10th.

    Westfield were sixth as a team with 158 points.Olivia Burnett leads Shamrock to finish 29thth place.

    The Fishers women’s team competed at the Marion Invitational Saturday at Indiana Wesleyan University.

    The Tigers placed 9th in the Women’s Chuck Schlemmer Elite Race with 260 points. Emma Schwertfeger led the Fishers individually and finished 37thth place.
