Coco Gauff has won the most recent US Open in style.
The 18-year-old tennis star hit the courts at the USTA Bill Jean King National Tennis Center on Wednesday for a match against Russian player Elena Gabriela Rouse. After a little back and forth, Gauff cemented his place in the third round thanks to a 6-2 7-6 (4) win over Ruse. Not only did she score her victory, she also recorded the third fastest serve in U.S. Women’s Open history.
While on the court, Gauff wore a New Balance skirt and top. Her top featured a navy blue bodice with white sleeves and a V-neckline. There was bright coral red along the sides. She added a blue and white New Balance headband. Matched.
Gauff completed the look with a pair of bright New Balance shoes. Her sneakers were shades of coral, light blue, and neon green that looked great against the soft green court. Focused on comfort and stability, this sneaker uses a FitWeave Lite upper, a durable rubber her outsole and her FuelCell midsole made of EVA foam. Completing the style is New Balance’s Energy Arc technology, which uses voids in the midsole and fiber plate geometry to provide greater energy return to the wearer.
Gauff will return to the court on Friday at the 2022 US Open against America’s Madison Keys.
